Palaeogale praehyaenoides
Taxonomy
Palaeogale praehyaenoides was named by Morlo (1996). Its type specimen is SMFM 5755, a mandible (left mandibular fragment with C, P2-4, M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Budenheim and Heßler quarries, which is in a MN 2 peritidal limestone in Germany.
