Parapleurites morrisonensis
Taxonomy
Parapleurites morrisonensis was named by Smith et al. (2011). Its type specimen is DMNS 26654, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is DMNH 3149, Bob's Siesta, Temple Canyon Park, Canon City, which is in a Kimmeridgian pond mudstone in the Morrison Formation of Colorado.
