Desmatinus cognatus
Taxonomy
Desmatinus cognatus was named by Chang et al. (2010). Its type specimen is CNU-COL-LB2008836, an exoskeleton (Complete body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2008 collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Desmatinus.
