Taxonomy
Euarchistigma marialuiseae was named by Bechly (2007). Its type specimen is SMF VI 837, an exoskeleton (Complete body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (SMF collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
