Taxonomy
Euarchistigma peterknobli was named by Bechly (2010). Its type specimen is SMNS 66823, an exoskeleton (Complete body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (SMNS collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
