Cratopetalura petruleviciusi
Taxonomy
Cratopetalura petruleviciusi was named by Nel and Bechly (2009). Its type specimen is WDC CCFB-5, a hindwing (complete hindwing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (WDC collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Cratopetalura.
