Cratogomphus erraticus
Taxonomy
Cratogomphus erraticus was named by Bechly (2010). Its type specimen is SMNS 66606a/b, an exoskeleton (Male complete body ), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (SMNS collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Cratogomphus.
