Holcorpa maculosa

Taxonomy
Holcorpa maculosa was named by Scudder (1878). Its type specimen is MCZ 247, an exoskeleton (beautiful wings and fragments of body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant (MCZ Collection), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Holcorpa.
