Taxonomy
Jurachresmoda sanyica was named by Zhang et al. (2009). Its type specimen is CNU-CH-2008001, an exoskeleton (Female complete body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2008 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
