Sopholibellula eleganta
Taxonomy
Sopholibellula eleganta was named by Zhang et al. (2006). Its type specimen is CNU-OD-LB2004002, an exoskeleton (Male complete body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2004 collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Sopholibellula.
