Tettigoilus sonorus
Taxonomy
Tettigoilus sonorus was named by Gorochov et al. (2006). Its type specimen is MNEMG 2003.43, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Auclaye Brickworks (MNEMG collection), which is in a Hauterivian lagoonal claystone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Tettigoilus.
