Speculogryllus acutispeculum
Taxonomy
Speculogryllus acutispeculum was named by Gorochov et al. (2006). Its type specimen is MNEMG 2003.47, a tegmen (male tegmen), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Smokejacks Brickworks, which is in a Barremian pond claystone/siltstone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Speculogryllus.
