Taxonomy
Sylvaella paurovenosa was named by Martynov (1940). Its type specimen is PIN 118/30, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Chekarda, Sylva River (PIN collection 118), which is in a Kungurian deltaic siliciclastic in the Koshelevka Formation of the Russian Federation.
