Schizodactylus groeningae
Taxonomy
Brauckmannia groeningae was named by Martins-Neto (2007). Its type specimen is RGMN-500, an exoskeleton (Complete body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato, Pedra Branca Quarry (Martins-Neto collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
It was recombined as Schizodactylus groeningae by Heads and Leuzinger (2011).
