Taxonomy
Artinska sojanensis was named by Aristov (2009). Its type specimen is PIN 117/1008, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Soyana (PIN collection 117), which is in a Roadian lagoonal siliciclastic in the Iva-Gora Beds Formation of the Russian Federation.
