Taxonomy
Bucania ungava was named by Wilson (1938) [?Bucania ungava]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Akpatok Island, 275' above sea level, Ungava Bay, Hudston Strait, which is in a Maysvillian carbonate limestone in the Akpatok Formation of Canada.
