Zapatadon ejidoensis
Taxonomy
Zapatadon ejidoensis was named by Reynoso and Clark (1998). Its type specimen is IGM 3497, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tierra Buena, W Huizachal Canyon, which is in a Pliensbachian floodplain horizon in the La Boca Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Zapatadon.
