Remopleurides eximius
Taxonomy
Remopleurides eximius was named by Whittington (1959) [Paratypes: USNM 137686a, b]. Its type specimen is USNM 137685, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 4. Field northeast of VA-639, ΒΌ from junction with US-11, 0.7 mile southwest Strasburg, which is in a Blackriveran carbonate limestone in the Edinburg Formation of Virginia.
