Cratolocustopsis araripensis
Taxonomy
Locustopsis araripensis was named by Martins-Neto (1990). Its type specimen is GP/1T-1672, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato, Tatajuba farm, Araripe Basin, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large limestone in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
It was recombined as Cratolocustopsis araripensis by Martins-Neto (2003).
