Taxonomy
Juraheterophlebia was named by Fleck et al. (2003). It is not extant. Its type is Juraheterophlebia kazakhstanensis. It is the type genus of Juraheterophlebiidae.
It was assigned to Erichschmidtiidae by Nel et al. (2014); and to Juraheterophlebiidae by Fleck et al. (2003), Huang and Nel (2017).
