It was assigned to Erycinidae by Vokes (1980), Beu et al. (1990) and Moore (1992); to Galeommatidae by Lamprell and Healy (1998); to Veneroida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Lasaeidae by Schneider et al. (2005), Bouchet et al. (2010) and Coan and Valentich-Scott (2012).
