Paraoligolestes miocenicus
Taxonomy
Paraoligolestes miocenicus was named by Nel and Escuillé (1993). Its type specimen is MNHN-LP-R 10382, an exoskeleton (four wings probably attached to thorax, obscured by fracture), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Montagne d'Andance, Saint-Bauzile, Privas (MNHN collection), which is in a Turolian crater lake diatomite/volcaniclastic in France.
