Cymatophlebia herrienae
Taxonomy
Cymatophlebia herrienae was named by Bechly et al. (2001). Its type specimen is GPIT 1807/2, a forewing (fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Salmendinger Chapel, Salmendingen, which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Wohlgeschichtete Kalke Formation of Germany.
