Cymatophlebia kuempeli
Taxonomy
Cymatophlebia kuempeli was named by Bechly et al. (2001). Its type specimen is JME Kuempel 42, an exoskeleton (complete male), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Eichstätt, Solnhofen (Jura Museum JME and Kümpel collection), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.
