Plesigomphaeschnaoides mongolensis

Taxonomy
Plesigomphaeschnaoides mongolensis was named by Bechly et al. (2001). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/10201, a hindwing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Plesigomphaeschnaoides.
