Cretalloaeschna cliffordae
Taxonomy
Cretalloaeschna cliffordae was named by Jarzembowski and Nel (1996). Its type specimen is MNEMG 1995.171a,b, a forewing (apical half of forewing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Bed DB175, Swanage (MNEMG collection), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal siliciclastic in the Durlston Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Cretalloaeschna.
