Pristiplocia rupestris
Taxonomy
Pristiplocia rupestris was named by McCafferty (1990). Its type specimen is AMNH 44308, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Crato (AMNH collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Pristiplocia.
