Parasteleopteron guischardi

Taxonomy
Parasteleopteron guischardi was named by Fleck et al. (2001). Its type specimen is JME SOS 3615, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Langenaltheimer Haardt quarry, Solnhofen (JME collection), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Parasteleopteron.
