Valdicordulia wellsorum
Taxonomy
Valdicordulia wellsorum was named by Jarzembowski and Nel (1996). Its type specimen is MNEMG 1995. 61, a hindwing (Left hindwing missing apex), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Clockhouse Brickworks (MNEMG collection), which is in a Hauterivian lagoonal mudstone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Valdicordulia.
