Mioerycina was named by Kautsky (1939) [Sepkoski's age data: T Mi-m]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Kelliidae by Wienrich (1999); to Veneroida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Montacutidae by Marquet (2005).
