Brunetaeschnidium nusplingensis
Taxonomy
Urogomphus nusplingensis was named by Bechly (1998). Its type specimen is SMNS 62602, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Nusplingen quarry, unit D, which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Nusplingen Limestone Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Brunetaeschnidium nusplingensis by Fleck and Nel (2003).
