Triassothemis mendozensis
Taxonomy
Triassothemis mendozensis was named by Carpenter (1960). Its type specimen is MACN 18040, a wing (apical half of wing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Agua de las Avispas, Cerro Cachueta, which is in a Carnian fluvial shale in the Potrerillos Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Triassothemis.
