Choristopanorpa bifasciata
Taxonomy
Choristopanorpa bifasciata was named by Riek (1950). Its type specimen is Australian Museum F.30959, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Beacon Hill Quarry (AM collection), which is in an Anisian lacustrine - small shale in the Hawkesbury Sandstone Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Protorthophlebia (Psomophlebia) bifaciata by Hong and Zhang (2007).
