Taxonomy
Taimyrophyllum crassiseptatum was named by Zhen (1994). It is not extant. Its type locality is Kirkland Downs, Australophyllum-Sanidophyllum association, which is in a Givetian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Burdekin Formation of Australia.
