Bairdia (Rectobairdia) powersi
Taxonomy
Bairdia powersi was named by Kellett (1934). Its type specimen is USNM 89479a and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Highway 50N, 4 miles north of Burlingame, which is in a Gzhelian carbonate limestone in the Burlingame Formation of Kansas.
It was recombined as Orthobairdia powersi by Chen and Bao (1986); it was recombined as Bairdia (Rectobairdia) powersi by Crasquin-Soleau (1997).
