Monticupes fentaiensis
Taxonomy
Monticupes fentaiensis was named by Ren (1995). Its type specimen is BL92208/9, an exoskeleton (complete beetle), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Chongqing Reservoir, west hills, Beijing, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Lushangfen Formation of China.
It was recombined as Tetraphalerus fentaiensis by Soriano and Delclos (2006).
