Elmopterum rotundum
Taxonomy
Elmopterum rotundum was named by Béthoux and Beckemeyer (2007). Its type specimen is MCZ 7468-7469, a wing (missing body and basal third of wings), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Elmo, MCZ 1932 collection Upper Limestone, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas.
