Prosechamyia trimedia
Taxonomy
Prosechamyia trimedia was named by Blagoderov and Grimaldi (2007). Its type specimen is VMNH 1371, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Solite Quarries (VMNH collection), which is in a Norian lacustrine - small shale in the Cow Branch Formation of North Carolina. It is the type species of Prosechamyia.
