Taxonomy
Ipciphyllum subelegans was named by Minato and Kato (1965). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Geli Khana, Ora, Wentzelella Beds, which is in a Wordian shallow subtidal limestone in the Zinnar Formation of Iraq.
