Taxonomy
Euryphyllum troldfiordense was named by Fedorowski and Bamber (2001). Its type specimen is GSC 117170 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC C-82314, Notch Lake, Ellesmere Island, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine sandstone in the Trold Fiord Formation of Canada.
