Taxonomy
Calophyllum (Groenlandophyllum) teicherti was named by Flügel (1973). Its type specimen is MMH 11928 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cape Stosch T67-101, Locality 1325, River 13 east, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wegener Halvo Formation of Greenland.
