Taxonomy
Calophyllum (Groenlandophyllum) nodosum was named by Flügel (1973). Its type specimen is MMH 11933 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cape Stosch T67-88, River 1, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wegener Halvo Formation of Greenland.
