Taxonomy
Pavastehphyllum (Sakamotosawanella) meesooki was named by Fontaine (1988). Its type specimen is Dept. Mineral Resources, Bangkok, T1161 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khao Khan Ban Dai, Prachuap Khiri Khan, which is in a Capitanian carbonate limestone in the Rat Buri Formation of Thailand.
