Taxonomy
Tachylasma regulare was named by Xu (1977). Its type specimen is IV38508 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jianyangping, Wujiaping Fm, Xingshan County, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wujiaping Formation of China.
