Taxonomy
Bairdia acetalata was named by Coryell and Billings (1932). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wayland Shale, near Cisco TX, Ostracoda, which is in a Pennsylvanian offshore shale in the Graham Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Fabalicypris acetalata by Sohn (1960).
