Taxonomy
Ipciphyllum grande was named by Kropatcheva (1989). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 11/12539 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Karabaglyar-4, Bed 27, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Arpa Formation of Azerbaijan.
