Aethocarabus levigata
Taxonomy
Aethocarabus levigata was named by Ren (1995). Its type specimen is BL92091, an exoskeleton (complete beetle), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Chongqing Reservoir, west hills, Beijing, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Lushangfen Formation of China. It is the type species of Aethocarabus.
