Waagenophyllum (Waagenophyllum) novaezelandiae
Taxonomy
Waagenophyllum novaezelandiae was named by Leed (1956). Its type specimen is NZGS CO1261 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GS5074, Marble Bay, Northland, which is in a Capitanian marine limestone in the Marble Unit Formation of New Zealand.
It was recombined as Waagenophyllum (Waagenophyllum) novaezelandiae by Minato and Kato (1965).
