Pseudotriassothemis nipponensis
Taxonomy
Triassothemis nipponensis was named by Fujiyama (1991). Its type specimen is MMHF-00007, a forewing (forewing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Okubata, Omine Area, which is in a Carnian terrestrial shale in the Momonoki Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Pseudotriassothemis.
It was recombined as Pseudotriassothemis nipponensis by Bechly (1997).
