Judomiella was named by Lazarenko (1962) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Boto-l Sepkoski's reference number: 462,471]. It is not extant. Its type is Judomiella heba.

It was assigned to Judomiidae by Palmer and Repina (1993); and to Olenellida by Sepkoski (2002).

Interocular area poorly differentiated from ocular lobe. Posterior tips of ocular lobes reaching to posterior margin of cephalon.
